  • Almond:- Nutty nourisher:- Pure almond oil from the nut tree takes a lot of beating when it comes to nourishing and softening dry skin.
 Avocado:- Skin Improver:- Scoop two tablespoons of flesh from half an avocado. Place in a bowl with a few drops of lemon juice and mash together quickly with a fork to prevent the avocado turning brown. Add one tablespoon of honey and mix to a smooth paste. Apply this mixture to your face and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Rinse off with lots of warm water and follow with a splash of rosewater. Then towel dry. This treatment is EXCELLENT for softening the skin.
  • Lemon bath:- Not only does lemon have a lovely fresh smell but its juice has a toning and whitening juice has a toning and whitening effect on skin. So put a few slices of lemon in your bath water and use any empty lemon halves you may have in the kitchen after squeezing the juice for drinks, to rub lightly over all your body just before you step into your bath. THIS IS REALLY REFRESHENING.
  • MILK: YOGURT TONER:- For this, you need either a standard carton of plain unsweetened yogurt (bought or home-made) or sour cream that dip your fingers into the yogurt or sour cream and spread it quite THICKLY over your face. Relax for at least 15 minutes before removing with plenty of warm water. Be careful to get rid of all the stickiness and finish off by splashing your face and neck with cold water. Dry with a towel or tissues
  • CUCUMBER: A slice is nice:- If you have a glut of cucumbers in your garden or just some slices leftover from a salad – DON’T WASTE ANY OF THEIR GOODNESS. Gently pat the slices of cucumber over your freshly cleaned skin for a few minutes. THIS IS A SUPER AND EFFECTIVE SKIN REFRESHER AT LITTLE OR NO COST.
  • OLIVE OIL: Luxury hand treatment:- Put some olive oil in a bowl. Gently warm some of the oil (but not too hot and DON’T BOIL IT) and rub it into your hands, then dip them in the bowl and keep them there for 10 minutes. Wipe off all the excess oil quite thoroughly with a tissue. THIS SOFTENS THE SKIN AND IMPROVES ITS CONDITION BY ADDING NOURISHMENT.
    • POTATO:- A pep up:- If your eyes are tired and strained, lie down and relax for 5 minutes. Leave on for 5 minutes and you’ll find that your eyes feel refreshed.
    • TOMATO: A tonic:- Rub a slice of raw tomato over your arms two or three times a day, then massage the juice well into your skin with the palms of your hands. Let the juice dry on your skin, then wash off with some clear water. Follow with an application of glycerin and rose water mixed together, then blot off any excess with a tissue. THIS TOMATO TREAT HELPS TO WHITEN AND SOFTEN THE SKIN ON ARMS.
    • SAGE: Soften grey hair:- A non-chemical treatment for grey hair can be made by boiling some sage leaves, straining off the liquid, then add to strong tea. Apply to your hair and leave on for 10 minutes. If used regularly in this way, it will give a much browner appearance to your hair.
    • HONEY: Smooth as honey mix:- Take one tablespoon of honey and mix it with one tablespoon of top of the milk, then apply it to your face. Rinse off with warm water to get rid of all traces of stickiness. Pat dry with tissues.
    • HONEY AND YOGURT:- Take plain yogurt and mix 2 tablespoons of honey into it, smooth this mixture over your face and relax for 5 minutes. Finish off with a refreshing spray of ice cold mineral water before putting your skin dry with a towel or tissue.
