Our soul holds our gifts and talents and is an individual expression of God. Our soul has been evolving throughout time and enters the body at its own particular stage of consciousness.

We see the soul as a bright light that enlivens the body and extends out to receive the information from spirit regarding what is true and what is loving to each of us.

We can receive this information when our intent is to know truth. Truth does not originate from the mind is not capable of discerning truth. The mind creates concepts beliefs and ideas based on what we have been taught and on our earthly experiences. The mind is programmed to think in very limited ways, often based on judgments of right and wrong, good and bad.

Most importantly, you should give your soul the attention it so rightly deserves. When you do that, often it will lead you to a place that your logical and practical mind cannot take you to a place that’s more fulfilling, one that will nurture your soul.

So, if this resonates with you and if you have been drawn to something that is spiritually nurturing for you, don’t always push it away and wait for the perfect time. Your work and responsibilities will be there when you get back and when you do something for just ‘you’ it will reinvigorate you so you can approach your personal a nd work life hopefully with a better sense of focused, healthy energy.

Your soul tells you when something is right for you by the feelings it evokes. When you are feeling excited, happy or peaceful about a decision, it is probably right for you. However, if something you’ve agreed to do fills you with dread, then you might want to think again. If you keep ignoring your soul’s guidance, you may end up sad, lethargic and depressed.

In order to hear the soul, we need to quieten the mind. You can do this by practicing meditation and deep breathing.

Live a soul-filled life!
