WORM INFESTATION
Worm infestations happen when worms affect the intestines and other parts of the body. Examples of the different worms are roundworms, whipworms, hookworms, tapeworms and flukes. A patient with a mild infestation might not show any symptoms. However, some may experience itching around the anal area.
-PASSING WORM IN STOOLS,PERIANAL ITCHING , FLATULENCE. , COLICKY PAIN,ANOREXIA,ANEMIA
Treatment:-
-TAB.MEBENDAZOLE 100 mg BD for 3 days
-TAB.ZENTEL 400mg – single dose
– TAB.DEWORMIS 150 mg – single dose
-TAB.STA-500 – single dose
FOR TAPE WORM INFESTATION:-
Tab.NICLOSAN – 4 tab stat in morning empty stomach then 2 tab daily for 6 days
Or
TAB.ALBENDAZOLE 400mg BD for 3 days
FOR THREAD WORM INFESTATION:-
-TAB.ALBENDAZOLE 400mg BD for 3 days
Or
-TAB.MEBEX 100mg BD for 15 days
FOR ROUND WORM INFESTATION:-
-PIPRAZINE CITRATE 30 ml at bed time on 3 consecutive days (75mg/kg/body weight/day)
Or
TAB.ALBENDAZOLE 400mg BD for 3 days
FOR HYDATID CYST:-
-TAB.ALBENDAZOLE 12mg /kg/day for 1 Month
